“I pensieri arrivano all’improvviso oppure non se ne sono mai andati, ce li portiamo sempre con noi i pensieri, forse sono colorati o non hanno il colore giusto, adesso siamo persone senza pensieri o con troppi pensieri, che ci girano fortissimo dentro, sbattono nella testa della gente, fanno rumore e producono dolore.
”Ho realizzato quest’opera a Roma in piena pandemia Covid19 e ancora la porto in giro nella mia testa ovunque vado.
Giovanni Albanese
Artista e Regista, nato a Bari nel 1955 si laurea in Architettura, al Politecnico di Torino, è titolare della cattedra di Decorazione all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma.
Arte
Nel 1996 è stato invitato alla XII Quadriennale Nazionale d’Arte di Roma.Nel 2002 gli è stato assegnato il “Premio Pino Pascali per l’Arte Contemporanea”.Nel 2008 è finalista e Vincitore del Premio Acquisto al Premio Terna 01 per l’Arte Contemporanea.Nel 2011 è presente con l’opera “Costellazione” alla 54ª Biennale di Venezia a Palazzo Bianchi Michiel con la Fondazione Pino Pascali.Nel 2009 ha esposto al Chelsea Art Museum di New York.
Cinema
Nel 2003 è uscito nelle sale il suo lungometraggio “A.A.A.Achille” con cui ha vinto il Giffoni Film Festival, film scritto con Vincenzo Cerami, con musiche di Nicola Piovani. A maggio 2011 esce nelle sale il suo film, “Senza arte né parte” prodotto da Lumiere &C e Rai Cinema.

Kinetic-luminous installation, variable dimensions, plexiglass and lamps.
“Thoughts come suddenly or never left, we always carry them with us, the thoughts, maybe they are colored or do not have the right color, now we are people without thoughts or with too many thoughts that turn quickly inside us, thoughts beat in people’s heads, make noise and produce pain.
“I made this work in Rome in the middle of the Covid19 pandemic and I still carry it around in my head wherever I go.
Giovanni Albanese
Artist and Director, born in Bari in 1955, he graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin and holds the Chair of Decoration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.

Cinema
